Brown Fused Aluminum oxide -First Grade

Brown Fused Aluminum Oxide (BFA)

BFA is produced by fusion of bauxite in an electric arc furnace at high temperatures.

BFA is of high hardness, toughness, self-sharpening, heat resistance and chemical stability, etc.

BFA can be used in the manufacture of Bonded abrasives, Coated Abrasives, Vitrified/Resin grinding tool, and refractory, etc.

Application:

AF: has high hardness, strong self-sharpening, excellent heat resistance. It is suitable for resin-bonded cut off and grinding wheels, vitrified wheels, cutting cast iron, regular steel, carbon steel, and nonferrous metals such as hard bronze, etc.

Grits available:

F12 to F220; F230 to F1200, sized in accordance with the current GB/FEPA/JIS sieve standards.

Application:

AP: has high toughness, strong cutting force and electrostatic adsorption force. It is suitable for Coated abrasives in metal working industry, such as sanding construction and tool steels, tool steel, cast steel, cast iron; also in non-ferrous metal like grinding aluminum, copper, hard wood, fiberboard, etc.

Grits available:

P16 to P220, P240 to P2500, sized in accordance with the current GB/FEPA/JIS sieve standards.

Application:

AC: reddish brown color. It is heat treated in the calcinations temperature. It has higher purity, cleanliness, stronger hydrophilicity, smaller expansion coefficient, higher toughness, lower content of magnetic materials and higher strength. Suitable for high grade coated abrasives and bonded abrasives.

Bonded Abrasvies: F12 to F600

Application:

AC: blue color. It is heat treated in high temperature calcination. It has higher strength, higher hydrophilic, can eliminate abnormal expansion during abrasive firing, can avoid the mech cracks / map cracks and rust spots of the fired abrasives. Suitable for top grade coated abrasives and bonded abrasives.

Character & Application::

The Ceramic coated abrasive grains improve the bonding of the grains with the resin / the hydrophilicity of abrasive, heat resistance, self-sharpening, surface cleaniness and efficiency of grinding and cutting. It increase the life time and enhances the grinding properties.

Bonded Abrasvies: F12 to F220

Application:

Suitable for Sand Blasting, and lower quality Resin grinding / cutting wheels.
